We've seen some great steps towards helping gamers with disabilities in recent years, and now Xbox is bringing out a new modular controller design to further support accessibility for gamers.

The Proteus controller looks a bit like something you might find in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It's essentially a controller made of blocks that you put together to best fit your playstyle. It's an interesting design, but it comes with a hefty price tag of $299.

You can take a look at the controller on Byowave's website. Byowave is the company that came up with the design, boasting 100 million configuration options for players with the Proteus controller.
