Xbox One S now supports recordable blu-ray discs

A patch has been released supporting BD-R and BD-RE.

Microsoft's Mike Ybarra has confirmed that the Xbox One S now can play recordable blu-rays, thanks to a patch. This was done via Twitter, where he said:

"For those asking... yes, Xbox One S will support BD-R and BD-RE. App update should happen today."

Support for BD-R and BD-RE might seem like a small addition but everyone who would like to play their own personal recorded blu-rays will now be able to do so with the Xbox One S.
