Xbox Countdown Sale discounts big names

Microsoft joins the likes of Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo offering festive sales on big names like Forza and Assassin's Creed.

This is a busy week for gaming sales, as Nintendo's eShop, the PS Store, and Steam have all got sales going on, and now we've got Microsoft's Countdown Sale to add to the list, reducing prices for a number of games not only on Xbox One but also Xbox 360 as well.

More than 800 digital games and add-ons are discounted up to 65 percent, including big titles such as Forza Horizon 4 (down from £49.99 to £32.49) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (reduced from £59.99 to £41.99). Assassin's Creed Odyssey is also a big name among the discounts, moving from £54.99 to £32.99.

Xbox Live Gold members get an extra 10 percent discount on all Countdown deals, which runs until January 3. If you're interested and have some cash to spend over the holidays, be sure to check out all the discounted titles here.
