Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn have released a new video showcasing the Career Mode for WRC 8, which has been redesigned following community feedback, echoing the real world and allowing players to become a driver in a WRC team from season to season.
There are several core aspects to master in order to become successful, including planning the calendar to decide what to do between rallies, be it training, resting, classic events, or something else. You also have to manage a crew consisting of six different jobs, before upgrading the crew through research and development as well as a skill tree.
Statistics at the end of a rally will help refine your strategy, but this also lets you compare yourself to other racers to become the best. You can also upgrade your car and recruit new members to the team, so there's plenty to be doing other than racing.
When you are on the track though you can expect new off-road physics, dynamic weather conditions, 52 teams, 14 countries, and more, all of which can be accessed on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One in September.
