World of Warships follows in the wake of the hugely successful World of Tanks, and the imminent World of Warplanes (currently in beta). Developers Wargaming.net has published the first batch of screens for World of Warships, and the military MMO is shaping up rather nicely.
If Warships can attract anywhere near as much interest as the free-to-play World of Tanks, then Wargaming may well be onto a winner as they seek to conquer land, seas and sky with their trio of combat MMOs.
And they feature a new type of armament, Airstrike.
The campaign will last until November 22, featuring exclusive items where all profits go to Help for Heroes.
As well as this, players will see the return of Ranked Battles with a brand new map addition.
