Let's file this one under "mod abuse" shall we. Reddit superuser Nitesmoke recently closed a World of Warcraft thread on Reddit in a protest against all the problems with servers and bugs that has plagued Warlords of Draenor since the launch a few days ago.

The thread was one of the bigger Worlds of Warcraft threads, but Nitesmoke refused to re-open it until Blizzard has fixed all the problems with the game. The Community Rep Jonathan Brown from Blizzard wrote about the whole thing on Twitter: @nitesmoke I've always appreciated what you've done, but r/WoW shouldn't be a hostage. It should always be there for the community.

Now the Reddit team has acted and removed Nitesmoke from all mod duties and opened the thread for discussion, plus posted an excuse which can be found over here.

Did Nitesmoke do the right thing or is there better ways to protest about the trend with completely broken games? Make your voice heard in the comments below. We're sure you the time, after all you're likely waiting in the queue.
