We reported earlier this month that yesterday marked the release date for World of Final Fantasy on Steam, and now it's here, introducing PC players to the fun.

"Players will follow the journey of Reynn and Lann as they travel to restore their lost memories in this family-friendly adventure, meeting with legendary Final Fantasy heroes along the way," the press release says. "Combining classic RPG gameplay mechanics and adorable visuals, players can capture, customise and raise over 200 familiar creatures to assist in combat in a unique stacking active time battle system."

New features include Steam trading cards, achievements, full keyboard and controller support, and a list of bonus legendary creatures and characters, including White Chocobo and Glow Moogle, to name a few.

If you buy the game before November 28 you'll get a Day One edition, which includes a digital soundtrack sampler as well as a wallpaper, all alongside the full game. The game itself costs £29.99, and be sure to check out our review if you're interested. Does the Day One version sound appealing to you?

REVIEW. Written by Kieran Harris

"After three decades at the forefront of the RPG genre it's refreshing to see that the franchise is still experimenting."
