Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will soon be marching forth onto the Nintendo Switch to bring Machine Games' adventure to a new audience, and we were joined by Panic Button's Adam Creighton (who is working on the port) to talk about what goes into making the game for this console.

"A lot of work," he told us. "So basically we looked at the game, we looked at how to get it on the platform, and we wanted to bring the same experience you get on other platforms to Nintendo Switch. We wanted it to be a fun playable experience whether it's in handheld mode or docked and on the television, and so we wanted to make sure we didn't lose anything as we did that."

"A lot of it is a lot of technical work, so just optimising, using a scalable resolution, doing a lot of tricks with re-authoring some of the content and things like that, working with Machine Games very closely to do things like re-author the audio so that we can hold onto that award-winning audio even in handheld mode."

Is this going to be your platform of choice for Wolfenstein II?
