The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski has been vocal in the past about wanting more compensation from CD Projekt Red for the Witcher series that is based on his novels, but now a new report from Puls Biznesu (and brought to us in English by Wccftech) claims that both Sapkowski and the Polish developer have reached an amicable agreement.
As part of this deal Sapkowski will receive further compensation from the developer, but it's much less than the 60 million PLN he was originally looking for with his demands last year. That said, it's still more than the fixed 35,000 PLN he had originally received, which he was unhappy with. The same report also says this is a gesture of appreciation of Sapkowski's work, as CD Projekt Red wants to keep a good relationship with him.
Do you think this is a fair deal?
