We talk to Avalanche about the Generation Zero beta

Closed beta kicks off on PC and Xbox One this week.

Avalanche Studios' upcoming co-operative open-world machine hunting game Generation Zero will launch into closed beta starting tomorrow on PC and Xbox One running until Sunday, October 21. The game offers an alternative history version of rural Sweden in 1989, a version where for some unknown reason the people are gone and in their place, there are terrifying combat machines roaming the land.

We recently stopped by the Avalanche offices in Stockholm for a chat with game director Emil Kraftling ahead of the beta launch to learn more about the scope of the beta, what sort of things they are looking for, and more. Check out the interview below:

REVIEW. Written by Ben Kerry

"It might have been better to keep things more focused rather than trying to build a huge open world."
