We Happy Few

We Happy Few approved to be published in Australia

It's not even been modified.

Back in May we reported that We Happy Few had been banned in Australia, but now developer Compulsion Games has revealed that it will in fact be released down under, having the following message to share with fans:

"After considering our appeal to get We Happy Few reviewed for classification, the Australian Classification Review Board has decided to allow the release of We Happy Few in Australia."

"We went to a great deal of effort to get this decision overturned. We Happy Few will be rated R18+ in Australia."

If you're wondering whether this means substantial changes to the game, have no fear, as the studio also clarifies that Australian players will be able to play We Happy Few without modification, so mark your calendars for August 10, when you can get the game on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Are you an Australian fan of the game?

REVIEW. Written by Bengt Lemne

"It may have been the art style and weird world that drew us in, but what kept us going was the narrative."
