According to Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed Origins's map is the largest ever created for the series, including Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which was mostly a vast ocean. Here in Egypt you'll also find huge lakes and rivers, as well as big desert areas, but the towns and villages are also massive, and there's always something to see and discover.

We decided to capture a journey from the most northerly point to the southerly point for you, with no stops to see the sights, to give you an idea of the scope of the map. The journey took us 28 minutes to travel almost 12 kilometers, even though our video card failed for a few seconds, and we died twice (advice: don't face enemies way above your level).

We will publish our full Assassin's Creed Origins review tomorrow, October 26, so stay tuned for that. Do you think this could be the best map the series has ever seen?
