World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is here in two weeks, and Blizzard knows how to hype old fans and players with a dose of lore, as demonstrated by the second animated short in the Warbringers series, this time called Sylvanas, which has already caused some controversy and garnered plenty of dislikes on YouTube.

"Sylvanas Windrunner, warchief of the Horde, leads her forces to victory against the night elves of Darnassus and moves to conquer their home: the great tree Teldrassil," the official description reads. "But a chance encounter with a dying young ranger who questions her motives and tells her that she cannot win the war she is truly fighting—a war on life itself—leads Sylvanas to make a decision that will change the course of history on Azeroth."

Blizzard has also made War of the Thorns: Chapter 2 available right now, a new quest accessible for a limited time with two exclusive mount rewards, the Smoldering Reins of the Teldrassil Hippogryph for the Alliance and War-Torn Reins of the Undercity Plaguebat for the Horde, so if you just can't wait for the new expansion this might keep you entertained.

The comments section of the video, however, show that some don't like the angle they're taking with Sylvanas, but what do you think?

REVIEW. Written by Clover Harker

"Horde and Alliance facing off against each other once more doesn't feel like a repetitive blast from the past but rather an intriguing dive into the unknown."
