Victor Magnusson, from Fatshark, shares his experiences as a game developer.
The first season of our premium service Gamereactor Academy is in full flight. The idea is to provide subscribers with detailed insights into the world of game development as well as tips and lessons for aspiring future game developers.
Today at 6:00pm (GMT) Fatshark's game designer Victor Magnusson (Krater, Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, Battlefield Play4Free) will share his views on game development and the role of game designer. He will talk about the importance of the design document (and honing your Excel skills) as well as what you learn from working in QA (quality assurance). Schedule allowing Victor will join the chat after the livestream to answer questions.
Prior to this our first featured developer, Johannes Kiel from Daedalic Entertainment will join the chat to answer questions (from 5:30pm).
In addition to the weekly live shows there are also additional interviews as part of GR Academy - we released an interview with Matthias Kempke, who works at Daedalic Entertainment. See the teaser below:
Matthias has worked on projects like "What makes you tick", "WMYT: A stitch in time" and lately "The Night of the Rabbit". In the interview he shared his experiences in the game industry.
