Watch first Flat Heroes gameplay on Nintendo Switch
Showing Survival Mode and drop-in/drop-out multiplayer.
We discovered the addictive Flat Heroes last year at Gamelab in Barcelona, and this year it's been developing a growing community of fans via Steam Early Access. Now Parallel Circles is adapting its unique minimalistic platformer for the Switch, and the new version was playable for the very first time at Madrid Gaming Experience.
The following videos capture the game already running on the Switch. The first clip is a direct-feed game on the new and hectic Survival Mode, with three players jumping around, dodging hazards, and reviving each other. The second clip is off-screen and shows how you can quickly add a new player. If you're playing solo on handheld and extract the Joy-Cons, the game will automatically switch to two players, something "you don't see a lot" on the hybrid console, according to developer Lucas González.
Flat Heroes will land on the Switch in early 2018, and it seems to us like a very fitting proposal for Nintendo's console, don't you think?
