Watch Dogs on Wii U outsold by FIFA 13 in its first week

Far removed from the battle for number one in this week's UK video game charts Watch Dogs on Wii U was finally released six months after its brothers and sisters on other platforms. It only managed 14th position in the Wii U chart with age old FIFA 13 just ahead in 13th position.

The Wii U chart was lead by Mario Kart 8 (again) that landed in 29th spot on the all formats (all prices) chart. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric came in third on the Wii U chart, but didn't manage to place in the all formats chart. Clearly software sales on Wii U aren't particularly healthy at the moment, but we suspect Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will manage to break into the top 10 in next week's chart.
