Another turn-based strategy game set in the beloved Warhammer 40,000 universe was announced earlier today and it's called Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus and revolves around the most technologically advanced armies in the Imperium - The Adeptus Mechanicus. These characters have been a part of the Warhammer world for many years, but have never played a major role in any of the many video games set in the universe, until now.

Players are being sent on a mission "to salvage ancient technologies from the mysterious tombs of the planet Silva Tenebris. As Magos Dominus Faustinius of Mars, your every decision will shape the missions ahead and have far-reaching consequences for you and your team." The game is heading to PC platforms later this year, and you can check out a trio of screens below to see what it's shaping up to look like.

REVIEW. Written by Roy Woodhouse

"While it's heavy on lore and therefore may not have broad appeal, turn-based tactics fans might still find enough to like here that makes it worth pushing through."
