Developer Greg Lobanov (Wandersong) has revealed Chicory: A Colorful Tale as a Kickstarter game, which is exciting in itself, but what's more is that he is working on the project with sound designer Em Halberstadt (Night in the Woods, Untitled Goose Game) and composer Lena Raine (Celeste, Guild Wars 2).
In the game - which has had over $45,000 USD pledged of the $30,000 goal at the time of writing - you'll play as a dog with a magical brush that needs to bring colour back to the world. You will use your brush in different ways, not only to solve puzzles, but also to light up dark caves with glow in the dark paint, for example. The team is also aiming to add co-op support for two players, as if all this wasn't enough.
Chicory: A Colorful Tale is in development for PC, but is also aiming for a console release. Do you like what you see?
