VooFoo Studios has announced that their top-down racer Mantis Burn Racing will run at 60 FPS on the Nintendo Switch, and there's also some exciting news about crossplay as well, as the studio also confirmed there will be cross-network play between Switch, Xbox One, and Steam players.
"We've been spending a lot of time getting to grips with the capabilities of the Switch - we've learnt a lot by digging deeper into the hardware" said Mark Williams, Technology Director at VooFoo Studios. "The Switch's performance analysis tools have allowed us to understand where frame-rate improvements could be made and we're really pleased to have the game running at a consistently smooth 60 FPS - we were determined to make the Switch version the best it can be."
Split-screen with three and four players locally, however, will be locked at 30 FPS, with two-player running at a variable 30 to 60. Are you more excited about the frame-rate or the crossplay?
