Void Bastards getting free challenge modes and DLC
Those wanting new content can expect some shortly, changing the way you play and adding a new organisation, ships, and more.
Blue Manchu Games' Void Bastards has been out for just over a month now, a "player-driven, very player-led" experience with a striking visual style, and now a Steam post has revealed even more content for players to enjoy, bolstering the experience and adding a breath of fresh air.
Free challenge modes are on the way to change the way you play the game, and while details are still being finalised, challenges will include sneaking past tough enemies, relying on amped up authorisation skills to take over ship systems, and more.
There's DLC coming on top of this too (presumably paid, since "free" wasn't mentioned), and this includes a new organisation, opponent, ships, and rewards. This week we should also expect news about the new weapon on the way with this DLC too.
"Have you noticed how dirty the Sargasso Nebula is? Tydy did and is standing by to deploy its fleet of cleaning vessels and automated cleaning units to really spruce things up. Warning: don't stand too near a Tydy Bot as their dirt recognition units have been known to malfunction when exposed to nebula radiation," the teaser reads.
If you haven't checked out Void Bastards yet you can do so right now, as it's included on Game Pass and available for purchase. Before you dive right in though, you might want to take a second to read our review.
