The first Major competition of the current competitive Dota 2 season has just wrapped up in Kuala Lumpur, and it's Virtus.Pro who emerged as the winners when the dust settled, earning $350,000 USD and 4,950 Pro Circuit points to prepare them for future competitions.

Their grand final opponents were Team Secret, who in fact had already beaten them 2-1 to send them to the loser's bracket, but Virtus.Pro fought back past Evil Geniuses to set up a rematch with Team Secret. In the final it was a different story, as despite going 2-1 down VP bounced back again to clinch the title with a 3-2 win.

Elsewhere PSG.LGD topped their group, and despite perhaps being the ones to watch for many, they lost to Team Secret and Evil Geniuses to send them out of the tournament.

Is Virtus.Pro the team to watch?
