FIFA 20 is due to be released on September 27, although if you want the Champions Edition you can get access to the game on September 24 via pre-order, and now we know the cover stars for this year's edition of EA's mammoth football franchise.
Eden Hazard has only just transferred to Real Madrid this summer, but he's on the front of the Standard Edition, and you can see this cover and his in-game likeness down below.
"EA Sports FIFA is the biggest Football game on the planet, and I have been playing it for years against my brothers," Hazard said. "I am lucky to have been on the cover before but to be on FIFA 20 globally is amazing and I hope to excite as many gamers as I do when I take the field for Real Madrid this season!"
He's not the only star to be gracing the cover this year though, as Liverpool FC's defender Virgil van Dijk is on the front of the Champions Edition, which is appropriate considering that Liverpool won the Champions League in the 2018/19 season.
"It is a huge honour for me to be on the cover of FIFA 20" said Virgil van Dijk. "I've been playing FIFA for as long as I can remember, and so it's an extremely proud moment for me to be representing Liverpool FC on the cover of such an iconic game".
There are plenty of pre-order incentives as well, as those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition before August 5 will get an untradeable 20 Ones to Watch player for FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), and pre-orders are 10% off when you do so via the FIFA 19 in-game menu on PS4 or Xbox One.
Alternatively, those on PS4 and Xbox One can use EA Access to play the game on September 19, with PC fans able to use Origin Access. Using Access also gets you a 10% discount on digital purchases like FIFA points too (not available in all territories, as some like Belgium have restricted sales).
With pre-orders of the Standard Edition you get up to three FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Rare Gold Packs (one per week for three weeks), you can choose one of five mid-version Loan Icon items for five FUT matches, and you get special edition FUT kits.
Pre-ordering the Champions Edition, however, gets you early access from September 24, up to 12 FUT Rare Gold Packs (one a week for 12 weeks), the ability to choose one of five mid-version Loan Icon items for five FUT matches, and special edition FUT kits.
The aforementioned Ultimate Edition comes with the bonus we've already talked about, as well as three days early access like the Champions Edition, up to 24 Rare Gold Packs (two a week for 12 weeks), the choice of one of five Loan Icon mid-version items for five FUT matches, and special Edition FUT kits.
