We know who'll be starring in Amazon's upcoming live-action adaptation of the hit game.

Without further ado though today, we're talking Life is Strange. I want to apologise as well, yesterday I did not do a GLTV News video, I was in work, I was posting normal news pieces and things like that but unfortunately I was ill, I'm still ill, I had a bad case of stomach flu which led to severe heartburn. So enough about me though, let's talk about Life is Strange because life is indeed strange as I found out in real life and as I'm finding out in this game adaptation as well as although we heard initially that speculation was pointing to Macy Stellar being the actress who was pitted as one of the leads for the series, a lot of people thought that she could be playing Max Caulfield instead, that role has instead gone to Tatum Grace Hopkins and we will have Macy Stellar as Chloe Price as confirmed officially in By Variety exclusively and then later on by Amazon in this poster reveal as we can see here for the Amazon Prime series that's coming as an adaptation of Life is Strange. Now Amazon is working on a multitude of video game adaptations, we've already seen two seasons of Fallout and we're likely going to see a third I think. We've seen the first image of the God of War series which didn't go down well I think it's safe to say as even the original creator isn't a fan of it. I mean I think that it's highly likely that the show isn't going to look as poor as that first image did but at the same time it makes you question why that came out. This is in a way I think a much better first reveal as it shows characters from the game next to their live action counterparts and who have been played by, as I said, Tatum Grace Hopkins, Max Caulfield, Macy Stellar as Chloe Price."
"It seems that therefore we're going to be getting a pretty close adaptation to the story of the game which Amazon has found its greatest success with actually stepping away but considering Life is Strange, stepping away from stories as we saw in Fallout but considering Life is Strange is so closely tied to that narrative of the first game I think it's really hard to make a Life is Strange game that doesn't involve Max and Chloe and doesn't have just basically a recreation of Dontnod's first game. Whether it'll incorporate, you know, what choices it'll incorporate in that series we don't know. We don't know when the series is coming out. As of yet we know that it's coming soon to Amazon Prime Video and considering that Life is Strange isn't, say, something that needs the set design or the special effects or anything like that of Fallout, we can imagine that production shouldn't take too long on it. It's also something that has a pretty clear and defined story. The only thing you'd imagine might need special effects is the time you wind your stuff when Max travels back in time. But other than that, we'll just see how it goes. I mean, I'm sure that Amazon is probably going to hit some, probably going to miss some with these adaptations but the fact that we're getting so many adaptations at once is surely an exciting time.
