"Hello, welcome back to GRTV News, I'm Alex, as always giving you the afternoons, latest and greatest when it comes to gaming, technology, entertainment, whatever you like and indeed whatever you love, we always have it here for you at GRTV News and in the wider Gamereactor network as a whole, so if you like what you see and you want to see more, be sure to check out Gamereactor wherever you get it from for more gaming reviews, gaming previews, movie reviews, series reviews, exclusives, interviews, world news, sports news and of course so much more without further ado, today we're talking a bit of positive news about Claire Obscure Expedition 33, now there was a bit of a blow last night as Ben talked about this morning with the EA cancellation of a Titanfall game which was meant to be an extraction shooter and the layoffs of about 300 to 400 employees which he's gone into on GRTV News today but I thought we'd focus on something a bit more positive, of course later tonight we have Borderlands which is going to be the big Borderlands 4 state of play, direct thing, whatever you want to call it, which is going to be showcasing some gameplay which we've not yet seen and we've also heard that the game's going to be coming out a bit earlier but without me just doing some sort of news roundup of yesterday's news, I thought instead we'd talk about the Claire Obscure DLC which could be coming as there are chances are good for it according to the lead writer Jennifer Svedberg-Yen who basically said in a Instagram Q&A with fans one of the questions asked by a fan was what's the chances of seeing a DLC or seeing one of the previous expeditions and she said nothing concrete that I can say at the moment we're honestly still just trying to process everything that's happening it's been a lot to take in we've always said if there is a strong desire from the players that we would love to do something more and based on the responses so far I'd say chances are good so Claire Obscure Expedition 33 has been enjoying a lot of great reviews and fan responses at the minute over a million players within the first 24 hours of launch I believe were achieved maybe within the first three days of launch either way it's had over a million copies sold despite also being on game pass it has enjoyed loads of great reviews I personally gave it a 9 out of 10 I know that someone else in the network has given it a perfect score so really really it is being seen as a great game and the fact that it also managed to do all this and create so much buzz as well as the fact that it was launched a day after the Oblivion remaster is quite strong for a game of this sort of size especially considering it came out from just 30 people or around 30 people at Sandfall Interactive it's their debut game and yet they've showcased their skills and their abilities with Claire Obscure Expedition 33 and of course people are going to instantly want to see more of that it's a bit like what happened with Baldur's Gate 3 when immediately people were like we want to see more we want to see more we want to see more because the quality is just so high that they will take anything that this studio can give them it's worth noting as well that we will see more of Claire Obscure as a movie is apparently in the works as was reported on back in January there's going to be a live action Claire Obscure movie which could go into all the things that fans wanted and they were asking Jennifer Spedberg again about i.e. sort of past expeditions what happens in the future after the main story it'll be interesting to know but at the minute it seems they're just enjoying the success that they've got and they've earned it let me know what you think a Claire Obscure Expedition 33 DLC should look like do you think there should be a sequel do you think there should be a prequel what do you think Sample Interactive should do next with the IP let me know that more and I'll see you tomorrow for some more GRTV News"
