"Hello everyone and welcome to another Gamereactor Quick Look, this time taking a look at another Ninja product, and they've been on a roll recently.
It seems like the Double Stack 2 XL is the air fryer of choice for a lot of people."
"We've also taken a look at the Woodfire Oven before, which is their sort of pizza oven, but in a more broad term where you can just use it outside all year round for all your sort of baking needs, which is great.
And if you're looking for a more standardized grilling experience outside, but one that uses electricity, because for whatever reason you might not be wanting to fire up with coals because that can be tricky, or if you don't want to use gas anymore, well then just having to use straight up electricity is preferable for a lot of people."
"It's preferable to use to power your car, and preferable to use when you are frying your meat.
And, well luckily, it does seem like that all of Ninja's sort of good bits are preserved here in the Woodfire Pro Connect XL."
"This again is the XL version, meaning that there is more space inside, but as you can properly see, it is not meant to be a direct replacement of your giant sort of terrace grill where there is two levels, like a shelf and the actual sort of griddle pads, and more consistently it is meant to be a replacement for the basic table grill, the smaller segment of the market which normally uses smaller gas bottles to power up."
"But still, it is made with the sumptuous sort of attention to detail that we know from Ninja products in general, and you can basically tell, particularly in this blue finish, that it is very well made overall.
You can see that on this little turning knob right here, the small LCD display, and these various little modes here which are used to basically tell the software inside what kind of sort of food preparation you want."
"So there is smoker, grill, air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate, and reheat, which is actually quite nice to have this sort of direct array of options for you.
And you might have noticed that it says, well, one of them is smoker.
That is because the little smoke pellet room here is preserved, and even if you get yours, you get pellets with you, which gives you a different kind of taste, which is also meant to sort of invoke the taste and the feel and the smell of a more traditionally barbecued item, which I think is good."
"Sure, it's faked in some way, but still, smoke pellets is nice, and it's nice that we preserve that kind of tradition, even if we're using a more modern way to prepare to cook items.
Inside here, you get a pretty direct sense that this is, again, a table grill.
It's 41 by 57 by 51 centimeters, and the entire construction is IPX4 certified, meaning that it'll take a rainstorm for sure, but probably not best left out in the cold throughout the year, for instance."
"But then again, it is transportable.
I think it's 18 kilograms or a bit over that, so it should be pretty easy to just put this in a shed when you're not using it.
It should be said that there are some accessories that we haven't been sent by Ninja."
"We asked for them, but they just didn't send them over.
So there is a stand, meaning that it can sort of be positioned like a regular barbecue grill, and there's also a cover for it so that you don't have to rely on the IPX4 certification, but protect it all year round."
"Still, the one thing that I will say is that there is not a lot of space height-wise in here before the item touches this part of the construction in here.
I don't know.
It's impossible to say centimeter-wise, but if you have a tall roasted chicken, that might touch here, and that is not, I think, ideal."
"So it is a smaller thing, and as far as I could tell, and I can't say this for certain, it doesn't seem like this nonstick griddle is dishwasher-made.
It has to be washed up by hand.
I think so."
"Still, you do get some pretty cool things in the box, like this baking tray and a little sort of grease pot here, which I think is very nice.
So these are obviously something that you can buy, and you can get these, I think, in pretty universal dimensions so you don't have to buy them directly from Ninja."
"You slide this in below, and it will catch all of the grease and stuff that is otherwise dribbling down, and then, yeah, you get some smoke pellets for this little tray here.
It is expensive.
Ninja's things mostly are, but it is impeccably made."
"You can tell.
