"Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new Gamereactor Gamescom Impressions video in which today we're going to talk about a game that I think it was so special because even though I don't know that much about the well the main character of the game and well you probably know because you're watching it on the video but I don't care. I'm not a huge fan of Grandizer okay because I mean that's not the the series that I watched when I was a child or a teenager or whatever I know the character I know how important it was and I played the game at Gamescom 2023 so it's my turn to talk about it I'm sorry for you but you'll be able to play it really soon. Let's begin! I'm obviously talking about UFO Robot Grandizer okay the Fist of the Wolves okay a long title but there you have it. A game published by Endroad and published by Mikroids I don't know if I said publish or develop but developed by Endroad and published by Mikroids okay just in case. That it's going to be available this 14th November on PlayStation 4, 5, on Xbox Series, on Xbox One and on PC and it's going to be available on Nintendo Switch on 2024 okay it's a game all developed to just play it all alone okay I think it doesn't have any co-op or any online thing or whatever and well we're talking about an action-adventure about well the the the main character the story of the series and in general about all the environment of the series okay what can I tell you about the game basically well we're going to explore this grandizer's world okay in a really really deep and detailed way okay and we're going to do it in a really dynamic way okay let me explain the game the game's divided in like well two parts I would say okay mainly the first one is all about where I don't know which one with which one you begin the game okay but in general I would say the first one and the main one and the funnier for me is the one that well you're following a mark to just get to your objective okay or obviously you have a story you have a background etc but you go to that point until you get to that point you can explore all the surroundings you can explore all these areas where well which everyone have seen if you've seen grandizer okay and you can explore you'll have to fight through against different enemies and well at the very end of this land you'll find a boss or a mini boss and like that you'll keep going on the story okay that's like the main part and between these different exploration parts okay different they're like explorations beat-them-up parts okay like the the the main essence is that but also between these beat-them-up exploring parts okay you'll find another kind of gameplay okay just to I don't know rest a little bit about this craziness dynamic combat style you'll have to control the well the the ship if we can call it like that or just like the UFO no and well you'll travel to the next destination and during that travel obviously you'll find more enemies and you'll find more things and you'll fight with your UFO so it's like that kind of all classic games where you have to fight against different spaceships and all that but everything's so fluent everything so cool I think it was kind of challenging also and as I said as everything's all set in this grandizer environments it's so cool to just fly on all these environments and then once you arrive just get into them into those areas and just see oh my god I remember this place from the series that's that route so that's so cool and in general the combat system for example it's as I said well it's a beat-them-up okay obviously we'll be we'll be upgrading our character he'll have different abilities obviously we'll have more experience completing these missions we'll get as I've said new abilities upgrade our powers etc in this like that it's it's like that basic concept there's nothing new okay we'll obviously see abilities really similar or the same abilities that we saw at grandizer when we saw the series okay so I would say that everything's so faithful with the series they tried to do it at least all the story and all that it's basically that so you you recognize it and you know what's going to happen even though they add something fresh or something new but in general they wanted to be faithful and that's it I would say that this is like a new way of reviving this grandizer experience in a modern way but also keeping these classic essence no keeping for example these spaceships no against all their spaceships and in in these third-person shooter parts between these between this exploration and meet them apart so I don't know it's it's so the game has so many things okay all those things I would say that they're basic or classic however you want to consider it okay not in the bad way I'm talking about the the basic word I'm not saying that it's basic because it's boring or it's repetitive or whatever completely the opposite I mean they know what they pretended with this game and it's all about reviving this grandizer story and this grandizer well part of our lives not mine in this case because as I've said I didn't know that much about the character even though I know him but I haven't seen the series but for those people that were grandizer fans for those people that wanted to relive their childhood their their teenage hood and all that I would say that it's a really really cool experience and I would say that the studio and in general everyone just wanted to give us that the classic experience in a modern way of course but in a simple way they don't want to pretend what they're not okay so don't expect well you'll be watching it in the in the video in the gameplay okay in here but basically you'll find like well some clear areas not so full of detail environments etc but everything will be recognizable for the fans everything will be clear where you have to go what you have to do it will be so clear where are the other paths that you can follow to just explore the areas etc and obviously defeating the enemies well maybe it can take you some time I don't think so but well sometimes you just get used to them or maybe that difficult pose is going to well make you suffer a little bit but in general I would say that it's easy game is just as I've said for having fun for reviving the grandizer experience and nothing else in general in terms of visuals and graphics etc as I've said it's faithful to the to the environment to the all the grandizer world okay so in that in that terms they're they're fine they're doing fine and in terms of graphics itself in terms of details and etc and textures and all that it's all simple but I didn't feel like the environments were empty I mean maybe they could add some more details etc but well I was playing a version that it's not the definitive version etc so maybe they can add it and improve it but I wouldn't say either that it was empty or that it that I felt that I was missing some elements or whatever to just enjoy the environment it was it was okay okay nothing super surprising nothing super crazy but all fine so I would say that it was faithful that it was simple that it was clear and that it worked and in general I have to say that I had fun playing the game as I've said even though I'm not a grandizer fan but I enjoyed it this mix between the different gameplays I think they're they well they they change the experience a little bit and like that the game feels fresh all the time because once you end and exploring beat them up later you'll have this this spaceship part and like that you don't feel like you're repeating all the time the same because I think maybe at some point can feel a little bit repetitive but as we play in different levels the the challenge and the difficulty will increase during the gameplay etc I would say that it's a good way to just keep this freshness all the time and at the same time don't suffer because you're you're finding something new or not suffer because everything's so repetitive and you're playing all the time the same thing so I felt fine playing it I had fun even though I'm not a fan and I would say that if you're a fan you're going to enjoy it to just revive this experience in a modern but classic way I would say so I don't know I had fun and I would recommend it to just play it if you're a fan of Grandizer if you're not a fan well maybe if you like these classic adventures and and I don't know you want to discover it can be an option but I would say it's more focused on the fans of just that people that watch the series that was well that was part of their childhood as I said and and that's it for reviving that I don't I wouldn't say that it's a game for dry for example as I've said sometimes with asterix and abelix that maybe well you're you were not a super fan but you like them etc and the games can be interesting I would say that these games more focus on fans but even though obviously it was funny as I've said I was not a fan and I had fun but I would say that it's more focused on on fans but it was cool and I enjoyed it and I highly recommend it if you're a grandizer fan because I think it can be a really good way of just reviving it and I'm repeating myself so let's end the video here okay I remind you that we've been talking
