The StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor competition took place this past weekend to give teams the chance to battle it out for prize money and a spot at DreamLeague Season 11, a prize which eventually went to Vici Gaming at the end of the event.

In Group B Vici impressed with a 2-0 record to sit at the top of the pile, defeating Demolition Boys 2-0 and Gambit 2-1 to advance to the playoffs, where they defeated Old but Gold 2-0 to book their place in the grand final.

This last battle was a rematch between Vici and Gambit in a best-of-five, but Gambit couldn't claim revenge and instead lost 3-0 to Vici who earned $125,000 USD for the victory, not to mention precious Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) points.

Elsewhere The International winners OG also disappointed, as they couldn't get out of Group A and ended up in third place with only one win and two losses.

Did you expect Vici to win?
