The Gamers8 festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has come to a close. After months of competition, spread across a variety of games, the final event concluded over the weekend, with this being the 2023 Gamers8 Rocket League tournament, which saw teams fighting over a $2 million prize pool.

Now that the event is wrapped up, we can add that Version1 has been dubbed as the new victors for the event, after managing to stave off Rule One and Team BDS to take home the lion's share of the mega cash prize offering.

To add to this this, Version1's "BeastMode" has also been granted the honour of tournament MVP, further showing the dominance of the organisation at the event.

As for what's next for competitive Rocket League, all eyes are on the 2023-24 season, which will likely be kicking off in the coming months.
