Astro Bot

There are only a handful of games that I play where from minute one until the end of the credits roll (yes, the end...) where I have a big grin plastered across my face all throughout. Astro Bot achieves this and then some. This is a delightful, charming, sweet, exciting, refined, and adorable platformer that perfectly accentuates what makes the platformer genre so brilliant when done correctly. There's not a moment in this game that leaves you disappointed or wanting more. It's well-paced, stunningly animated and designed, and balanced in such a way that kids and adults alike will fall in love with Astro time and time again as the lil' robot continues its quest among the starts.
