Update 2 for Rage 2 dropping on July 25

A flashlight is being added alongside three new ways to play, offering a higher level of challenge to players.

Avalanche Studios and id Software brought Rage back in explosive fashion back in May with Rage 2, and now we know courtesy of the game's Twitter page that Update 2 is scheduled to land on July 25.

New Game+, Ironman Mode, and Ultra-Nightmare difficulty are being added to spice things up a bit, and there are also fixes and quality of life improvements, like skippable Ark tutorials, a flashlight for those very dark locations, and more.

If you have yet to play the game or just want to read our thoughts on the action-packed carnage of Rage 2, then head on over to our review.
