Clothing brand Uniqlo has revealed that they will roll out special UT items (Uniqlo T-shirts) in August and September in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment and Taito, companies responsible for plenty of iconic names like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Galaga, just to name a few.

"The special UTs will faithfully reproduce 8-bit visuals from these classics. Famous scenes and characters are sure to trigger nostalgia among those who grew up in the arcade gaming era and among young consumers for whom retro gaming culture offers fresh and exciting complements to their wardrobes," the press release reads.

For the first time in a decade Uniqlo will offer designs from the Namco Museum, bringing to life these nostalgic games in "contemporary design arrangements." Space Invaders has a particularly special relevance, as it launched in 1978 and is therefore 40 years old now.
