Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is a damn fine video game, whichever way you look at it. Naughty Dog's third-person action-adventure stars charming explorer Nathan Drake and his equally charismatic entourage of friends and foes. Among the cast is Elena, Nate's wife and occasional companion in the field, and although the pair often enjoy a jolly through the jungle together, in A Thief's End they share a moment of domestic bliss early on in the story that's altogether less chaotic.

It's this scene that modder Thekempy decided to reframe, this time from moving the view away from the close third-person perspective that those who've played the game will be all too familiar with. Instead, we can find out what that scene look likes from Nate's point of view via a new first-person camera angle, and as you can see in the clip on YouTube, it works a treat to build the atmosphere around this more subtle moment in the narrative.

Thekempy is clearly a big fan of the Uncharted series and the modder has even produced additional clips including one where Nate is patched into Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, the standalone expansion that released last year headlined by returning duo Nadine and Chloe.

It feels like the movie started production a century ago, however, now it looks like we could be getting closer to an actual release.
