Ubisoft updates us on what's ahead for Assassin's Creed
We're getting another escape room called Beyond Medusa's Gate, and Odyssey players have plenty to be getting on with as well.
Ubisoft has updated us on all the content hitting the Assassin's Creed franchise this month and in the near future, as well as providing an April update video which includes details on the first episode of The Fate of Atlantis story arc for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, as we reported about yesterday.
Regarding Odyssey, we also have the eighth episode of The Lost Tales of Greece, called The Heir of Memories. This is currently available for free and lets players open the gates of Atlantis if they've completed the Pythagoras storyline, at which point you can go on to play the first episode of The Fate of Atlantis.
Elsewhere in the game we also have the Sphinx Packs - with a new gear set, mount, scepter, ship design, and The Sphinx legendary lieutenant skin - as well as Custom Gear Loadouts for players to create up to five loadouts to quickly assign the best gear for different scenarios.
Beyond Medusa's Gate is coming on May 13 as well, although this is a VR escape room experience in which you have to find your way out of an Aegean cave set in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. You can choose from up to six avatars and customise them, and this builds upon the foundations laid by the first escape room, called Escape the Lost Pyramid. For more on these, check out this site.
For those playing the Assassin's Creed Rebellion mobile game though, there are five new missions available here to unlock and upgrade Ishak Pasha and Aleksei Zima, with Pasha coming to Spain to grab an artifact and stop a trade deal between the Byzantine Rite and the Inquisition. This event is live right now, and runs until April 21.
