The folks over at Electronic Arts were more than willing to announce that we'd see the release of a new Plants vs. Zombies and Need for Speed game before April 2020 during their latest investors call, while Activision confirmed that this year's Call of Duty will include a classic story campaign during theirs. Ubisoft got some interesting news to share during their call last night as well, even if they were more secretive than their aforementioned competitors.

Without mentioning titles or hints, Ubisoft announced that they plan to release "three or four AAA games" during the next fiscal year, which means between April 1 this year and March 31 in 2020. We already know that Skull & Bones is set to release in that window, but that's it as far as AAA releases go. That leaves plenty of room to air our own theories about what the other two or three are.

We doubt Ubisoft is lying when they say that there are no new Assassin's Creed coming this year, so that's not an option. What's more likely is the long-rumoured Splinter Cell game. Actors have teased it. Ubisoft has also included a bunch of Easter eggs referencing the franchise in many of their latest games, including the just-released Far Cry: New Dawn. Top that with our sources confirming the game's existence many moons ago, and it's clear that this is one of the most probable options.

Last summer, Michel Ancel said that they hoped to have a playable beta for Beyond Good & Evil 2 by the end of 2019, so one can dream that the highly-ambitious title will reach version 1.0 by April 1, 2020. There's also Watch Dogs 3. Ubisoft Montreal only needed two and a half years to develop Watch Dogs 2 after the original. It's been exactly two years and three months since our adventures in San Francisco at the time of writing, and the massive studio has been known for delivering on schedule...

There's also the potential of a new Rayman, Child of Light 2 being made in record-time, another Ghost Recon, Massive's Avatar game, new IPs and a few other options. Which ones are you hoping for?
