A few weeks before The Crew 2's release, expected at the end of this month, Ubisoft has announced their post-launch plans for their new open world racing game, not to mention a Season Pass which will be available from the game's launch and also included in the Gold Edition and Motor Edition versions.

The main free updates will be released every three months and will expand the gaming experience and its scenarios, adding new disciplines, modes, and features. The first update, called Gator Rush, will be available in September 2018 and lets players "enjoy a tropical cocktail of bouncy fun and wacky races on all kinds of surfaces and playgrounds, mastering a new and exotic discipline: the Hovercraft." The free update will also introduce five new vehicles and the "Legendary" rarity level for components that players will get in the game. In addition to the main updates, two new usable vehicles will also be added each month as well.

The second major free update, due out in December, will also add a new player-versus-player mode, and below is the list of all the content that will be available in The Crew 2's Season Pass:

  • Three exclusive vehicles on day one, the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6, the Supermarine Spitfire MK IX and the Ice Marine Bladerunner 35.

  • Seven days early access to the monthly added vehicles, totaling 22 vehicles.

  • One exclusive house location as well as two exclusive outfits.

  • VIP 20 percent discount off of the game store.

The Crew 2 will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 29, but if you just can't wait we have a preview for you over here. Does the Season Pass sound appealing?

REVIEW. Written by Magnus Groth-Andersen

"We never found ourselves wanting for variety. On the contrary, it's an open world arcade racer that offers plenty of things to do."
