Ubisoft have confirmed in their latest conference call following a successful financial report with rising profits (+73.3%) and revenue (+18.3%) that the development on 1666, the game brought over as they acquired THQ Montreal, has now been suspended following the departure (he was escorted out of the building) of Patrice Desilets.
Joystiq reports CEO Yves Guillemot as saying the following on the matter during the conference call:
"After more than two months of discussions with [Patrice], we couldn't align our vision both on the project development and the team management. So, consequently, our collaboration has ended, and we have suspended 1666 for an undisclosed period of time."
