Yesterday, Twitch announced some serious changes to its branded content guidelines, including banning burned in audio, visuals, and any logos that are larger than 3% of a stream's display.

These restrictions are set to damage sponsored streams and events, including eSports. It seems as though most advertisements on the platform are now going to be heavily limited, which is going to be problematic when a lot of eSports streams also advertise accessories, snacks, and more while a tournament is going on.

Twitch has apologised due to the backlash caused by these changes, and it has promised to alter the language it used in yesterday's policy announcement, but it looks as though the streaming platform won't be backing down entirely on these changes.

What do you think of these advertisement changes?
