After weeks of competition, Dota 2's The International has come to a close for another year, and with this being the case, we now have a victor to talk about. For 2022, the championship winning team ended up being Tundra Esports, who defeated Team Secret in the grand finals to walk away with the lion's share of the enormous $18 million prize pool.
Specifically, Tundra as a team is heading home with just over $8.5 million, as well as the title of the team to beat until the next The International, which Valve has yet to release any firm details about.
As for the teams that made up the top four, aside from Tundra winning the whole event and Secret coming up second, Team Liquid came in third, and Team Aster made it to fourth.
