We caught up with game director Jamie Eden at E3 to talk about the imminent launch of Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens on a multitude of platforms.

One thing that sets this release apart from most other Lego titles is the fact that there's a season pass with some rather chunky DLC planned.

"What people can expect from it are new stories," says Eden. "We've not held anything back from The Force Awakens, there's lots of cool things as well, like I'm a massive fan of Star Wars: Rebels, and there's a character pack that focuses on those guys. There's a character pack that focuses on the really cool characters from the Clone Wars TV show. And we keep everything in The Force Awakens, that's strong enough as it is. There's also level packs that tells the story of what goes on alongside The Force Awakens. We get to find out what happens to Poe after he crashlands on Jakku. In the film we see Finn crashland, he gets up and Poe is nowhere to be seen and we get to tell that story. It's cool, people get see these off-camera stories as they're called that sit alongside The Force Awakens."
