TSM are the Apex Legends Global Series 2023 victors

The team held off OpTic Gaming to claim the trophy.

The 2023 Apex Legends Global Series Championship has come to a close. With the tournament being held at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham over the past weekend, the event saw the 40 best ALGS teams from around the world competing for a share of a $2 million prize pool. Now that the event has wrapped, we have a victor to report on.

TSM has managed to hold off the pressuring OpTic Gaming to be crowned champions for the 2023 season. This result has seen TSM heading home with not just a trophy but also $600,000 in prize money, while OpTic was awarded with $320,000. As for the follow-up teams, BLVKHVND came in third and won $210,000 and The Dojo finished in fourth and made $170,000.

In terms of the additional awards, TSM's Phillip "ImperialHal" Dosen was dubbed MVP, while TSM's Evan "Verhulst" Verhulst won the Positive Player award.

EA and Respawn have not yet made any announcement about the 2024 season of the ALGS.
