A Plague Tale: Innocence

Try A Plague Tale: Innocence with the new free trial

There's also a sale on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this weekend as well, if you want the full game.

Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio released A Plague Tale: Innocence into the wild earlier this year (you can check out our review here if you want), and now the pair have revealed a free trial, available right now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, letting you experience the first chapter of the story for no charge.

This is just a brief glimpse of Hugo and Amicia's story, and on top of that there's a sale on Steam that sees the game included as part of the Focus Home Interactive publisher weekend. In fact, Xbox players can also get it cheaper via Deals with Gold, and PS Plus users in Europe get a discount via Platinum Weekend as well, with all discounts ending on September 16.

Will you give it a go?

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"There are areas where Asobo can look to make improvements in the future, but the studio has delivered an engaging adventure that we thoroughly enjoyed despite its flaws."
