Tropico 5 has pre-order success
Four times the number achieved by Tropico 4.
Kalypso Games will no doubt be looking forward to the release of Tropico 5, after they confirmed that the strategy sequel has already secured an impressive number of pre-orders, four times as many as Tropico 4 was able to manage.
The game, which sees players governing over a tropical island through several generations, has actually secured more pre-orders than any other game released by the publisher, and that's just for the release on one of the four planned platforms.
Tropico 5 is heading first to PC (on May 23), and will follow in the summer on Xbox 360 and Mac, with a PlayStation 4 version set to arrive in the autumn. Ahead of our review, you can read our preview here.
