Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

Trine 4 and Ultimate Collection release on October 8

The sequel is due to land in a few months, and those who get it at retail also get a world map as well.

Frozenbyte and Modus Games have announced that Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and Trine: Ultimate Collection will be released on October 8, and there's a new gameplay trailer for the former to go with this announcement too, ahead of release on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.

The new trailer shows off the four-player co-op for the first time, highlighting new skills as well. We can also witness the combat system in action, as well as enemies, puzzles, and more that await in a few months.

Both games will be released on all four platforms, with Trine 4 costing £24.99 (£29.99 on Nintendo Switch) and the Ultimate Collection priced at £39.99. At retail the collection will include all four games, the original soundtrack for the series as a download code, a digital art book via a download code, a collector's reversible cover sheet, and a physical Trine 4 world map, so there's plenty included. If you get Trine 4 at retail you will also get the world map too.

Those who pre-order Trine 4 here also get the Toby's Dream DLC level for the game, seeing you play through his adventure in Heatherwood Hall, finding the treats hidden in the castle and the gardens.

Will you pre-order?
