The victor of the third season of the Farming Simulator League has been determined, following a weekend of competition. Trelleborg has cemented itself as the defending champion, after defeating the wild card team of LSA E-Sports in the grand final to walk home with 61,300 Euros of the 100,000 Euro prize pool.

"We are proud to have defended the title of World Champion!" said Lukas Thiemann (aka Wühler), team captain of Trelleborg. "Since the preliminary round, we have not lost a match, no matter how tough our opponents were. We gave our best and were finally rewarded with a winning streak of 11 wins and can now call ourselves the World Champion of the Farming Simulator League."

Trelleborg are now the League's first ever defending champion, after also taking the tournament in the second season of the FSL.

As part of the victory, Giants Software also revealed that the Farming Simulator League will be back next year for a new season, although a date and a format has yet to be announced.
