Total War: Attila's next expansion is called Empires of the Sand and it brings three new factions to the game. They are Aksum, Himyar and Tanukhids, and all of them have unique units. They can be used both in single player games and in multiplayer matches.

The expansion pack also introduces new campaign and horde mechanics, and religion features. Campaign gets new building trees and events, and Tanukhids horde gains food through settlement battles and not from buildings. Aksum and Himayar may choose between two religions, which has a direct effect on what they can build.

The expansion is out 1on September 15 and before that you can feast your eyes on the new trailer and screens below.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"While not a step forward when compared to Rome II, Attila still stands as a worthy companion piece."
