Ahead of the weekend, we reported on the first day of the Call of Duty League's Major III, where we talked about the host team, OpTic Texas, losing its first match and being at risk of elimination. Well, now that the tournament has wrapped up, we have a winner to talk about.

Following an action-packed weekend, the Toronto Ultra has been named Major III champions, after beating out none other than OpTic Texas in the finals. The Texas nearly had the ultimate comeback story, but unfortunately fell at the final hurdle, with Ultra taking the tournament with a 4-2 end result.

This means that all eyes are on the qualifiers for the fourth Major of the season now, which will be starting on March 31, with the Boston Breach taking on the Las Vegas Legion.
