Now that the Overwatch League is dead, many of the teams that made up that competitive scene have seemingly called it quits and moved on, some to new challenges and opportunities altogether in the content creation space. But the Toronto Defiant isn't doing this, as the team has committed to competitive Overwatch, so much so that it has announced its roster for the 2024 Overwatch Champions Series.

The team will be made up of five players and a head coach, including; Choi "MER1T" Tae-min, Kamden "Sugarfree" Hijada, Ham "SOMEONE" Jeong-wan, Diego "Vega" Moran, Rupal "Rupal" Zaman, and coach Cas "Casores" van Andel.

Expect to see the Defiant in action in the North American OWCS scene.
