Here's completely biased and utterly unscientific compilation of the best GRTV had to offer during November.

7. Rovio Sweden - Interview
Oskar Burman (Rovio Sweden)
Filmed: Stockholm (October)
Published: November 30

Oskar Burman started his career at UDS in the mid-90's and his career continued at short lived This Side Up, Pan Vision, Avalanche Studios, and most recently EA Easy. His new mission is to set up a Stockholm studio for successful Finnish mobile giant Rovio - a studio where they'll work on mobile and tablet games that don't necessarily have anything to do with Angry Birds. Burman has managed to pull some skilled senior talent from other Stockholm developers, even if there is still plenty of positions to fill in an office that currently has more empty seats than filled ones. We had a chat about the current industry climate, and his view on what's ahead for Rovio Sweden and the industry as a whole.

5. Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale - Nordic Championship Gameplay
Nick Holmberg, Gillen McAllister (Gamereactor)
Filmed/Captured: Copenhagen (November)
Published: November 28

This is an ad:

The Nordic editions of Gamereactor battled it out over bragging rights as readers in each country had voted for what heroes would represent each country. Finland came out on top making great use of Sly's sneaky attacks, while Sweden struggled with getting to grips with Kratos. The commentary is provided by GRTV's Nick Holmberg, who typically finds himself behind the camera and GR-UK's Gillen McAllister. They almost manage to keep track of who's doing what...

4. DMC Devil May Cry - Gameplay Collection
Filmed: Ninja Theory, Cambridge (October)
Published: November 16

We were allowed to film 4 minutes of gameplay from each of the levels shown at a special event for DMC Devil May Cry at the Ninja Theory offices in Cambridge. Sadly we were unable to record the sound, so it's a muted Dante we're treated to this time around.

3. Download Round-Up #3: Brutal Retro
Thomas Blichfeldt, Rasmus Lund-Hansen (Gamereactor)
Filmed: Copenhagen (November)
Published: November 20

This edition of the Download Round-Up is a particularly solid one as Rasmus and Thomas deal with some of sweetest digital delights released over the last while including Hotline Miami, Dyad, Retro City Rampage, Terraria and Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. Plenty to get excited about.

1. Far Cry 3 - Firestorm Interview
Daniel Berlin (Ubisoft Massive)
Filmed: Ubisoft Massive, Malmö (March)
Published: November 29

This one requires a bit of an explanation. How is it that an interview shot late in March during a studio visit at Ubisoft Massive in Malmö, Sweden, has not been published until now? Well, first of all we did a total of 4 interviews during the visit, and we felt it was a good idea to differentiate them - so with Daniel Berlin we focused solely on the unique multiplayer mode Firestorm. It's a ten minute chat about one of several multiplayer modes Ubisoft Massive have crafted for the game.

The only problem was that no b-roll or footage from Firestorm was released following the event - so we decided to wait. We'd occasionally ask our PR representative for some b-roll having no luck, and after a couple of month the interview was archived in the back of our minds as "needs additional footage". Then we met up with the very same Daniel Berlin at Gamex early in November and with that interview we finally got some b-roll for the Firestorm mode. The cogs were set in motion. Wasn't there something else we needed that footage for? That's right, and so an interview that was 8 months in the making finally sees the light of day. We actually have an interview that's older than that in our archives, but that game has yet to be announced so we're holding on to that - if it ever gets announced.
