Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series has been around since 1999, and now an Indiegogo campaign has been launched in order to try and get funding for a documentary about the series, called "Pretending I'm A Superman - The Tony Hawk Game Story."
At the time of writing, the campaign has received over $5,000 USD of its $75,000 target, and will include insights not only from the man himself, but also the team at Neversoft and other skateboarders. The documentary will then be pulled together by Ralph D'Amato, who worked on the Pro Skater series.
"I ended my employment at Neversoft 11 years ago, and I feel like the time has come to tell this story," D'Amoto writes. "The last few months I have been working together with a fantastic crew who are all dedicated fans of the series and it is time for us to make this happen."
Is the Pro Skater series the best skateboarding games have ever been?
