Tony Hawk is working on a new game, but not with Activision

Even if skateboard pioneer Tony Hawk has already earned a fortune with his many video games over the years, more recently things haven't been very pretty. The most recent title and the last one on his deal with Activision, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, was not only a really poor game, but it completely tanked at retail. The end of the deal with Activision doesn't seem to spell the end of Tony Hawk's video game ambitions, however.

In an recent interview with Jenkem Magazine, Tony revealed that he is working hard ona new video game, but not with Activision.

"I'm potentially working on something, but it's so early I couldn't talk about it. I don't have any contracts signed, but it's exciting. I feel like it's with the right people so I should know more in the next couple months," Hawk told Jenkem

Could it be that Tony Hawk is speaking to EA about a potential Skate 4? It doesn't seem like EA have made up their minds about making it yet, but perhaps they'd want the Hawk on board for that.
